Maternity Photography Guide for Photographers

Let's be honest - women struggle DAILY with body image. We are told constantly HOW we need to look, what type of body we need to have, how much we should be working, what we shouldn't be eating... The list goes on and on and on. And it's thrown in our faces EVERYWHERE. From social media to television, magazines, movies... We constantly told we are not perfect and the efforts we make to be and stay healthy are not enough.

So what happens when this struggle is introduced to a woman who finds out she is pregnant? Sadly, many women struggle even more because they can't see how incredibly beautiful the pregnant for is. They can't see how incredible and miraculous their body is changing to carry this precious little life from within.

My goal as a photography artist is to SHOW women how beautiful they look and most importantly, ARE.

This maternity photography guide will help equip photographers with the proper way to capture the pregnant form. Each body is so different and each pregnancy comes with it's own story. Our end goal is to tell that story in the most beautiful way possible.

In this 50 page maternity photography guide you learn techniques and concepts to photograph the pregnant form that will leave your clients breathless.

Newborn Photography Guide for Photographers

Newborn Photography has engulfed the photography industry like a sandstorm. With it's growing popularity, I felt the need to open pandora's box of "newborn photography secrets" and make them accessible to aspiring photographers.

In 2011 I wrote one of the first Newborn Posing Guides on the importance of newborn safety and proper posing techniques. Then in 2014, we released our second, 80 page newborn guide, which is chalk full of information on how to have safe and smooth newborn sessions.

This 80 page 8.5"x11" soft cover book is the perfect guide for aspiring and professional newborn photographers wanting to strengthen their craft. This guide is a personable, easy to read, mentoring opportunity in a book. Please note, this is NOT a definitive "how to," but rather a guide to assist in the journey of creating smooth and safe newborn sessions.

I love having the opportunity to speak and teach in my "backyard..." the great Pacific Northwest. For the last 2 years I have had the great privilege of speaking on  Newborn Photography, with a heavy emphasis on safety, as well as teach on how to capture the pregnant form through maternity photography.
