Jordan & Natalie || Pacific Northwest Intimate Wedding

Over the last 10 years of being a professional photographer, I have had the privilege and honor of photographing many weddings of all sizes. All unique. All sacred. All beautiful.

On September 16th, Jordan and Natalie made vows to each other in a beautiful ceremony located at the groom's parents beautiful sprawling 10 acre home. With just 8 people attending, this intimate affair was nothing but perfection.

I absolutely loved photographing this day! To be a part of such an intimate ceremony was truly an honor.

Natalie & Jordan,
May God's face shine upon your marriage and bless you abundantly! Thank you for inviting me to document your beautiful and spectacular day! Enjoy this sneak peek!

Sandra & Parker | Pacific Northwest Wedding Photographer

I believe people come into our lives for a reason. And I also believe that every client that I have the opportunity to meet and capture is for reasons that sometimes can't be put into words.

Being a wedding photographer, and photographer in general, is more than just capturing "pretty pictures." It is about connection, building relationships, and capturing moments that will forever be frozen in time and cherished for generations to come.

Just over a week ago, I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing Sandra and Parker's beauuuuuuutiful wedding downtown Seattle at Hotel 1000. The day was purely about the love these two have for each other and the vows they made to one another. I am so grateful and honored that they asked me to capture their spectacular day. Being invited into such an intimate moment in someone's life is something I truly feel humbled to be a part of.

Stay tuned for their full sneak peek. In the meantime, here's a little teaser of a personal favorite.

Chris & Heather ~ Married || Seattle WA Bridal Portrait Photographer

I love photography and the important role that it plays in our lives. I truly believe that the photographs that are taken today aren't just for the now, but for generations to come. For our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

I had such a lovely time meeting this sweet couple who had recently exchanged their vows in front of close friends and family this past spring. Shortly before their wedding, I received a phone call from the mother of the groom wanting to give the gift of photography to her son and new daughter in law. I was of course on board and so thrilled to document this new husband and wife on a perfect summer evening.

Here's a little sneak peek from their session. Enjoy!

Love || Carillon Point Engagement Session

Love... Such a powerful and beautiful thing.

I have the privilege and honor of photographing many different forms of love. From the love of a couple expecting their new baby... To the love of a sweet family... To those pledging their love to each other as they make vows to death do them part... Every form, so beautiful and tender.

I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing Sandra & Parker's sunset engagement session down at Carillon Point a few weeks ago. The weather, humid and warm, made for beautiful skies as lightening appeared in the distance. I can't wait to celebrate with them and photograph their beautiful wedding this September! Here is a sneak peek from their engagement session.

Love Stories || How Do You Want Yours Told? || Pacific Northwest Wedding Photographer

Love stories... I love hearing them.

How they met... What she first thought of him. What he first thought of her. Was he nervous to ask her out? Who made the first move? How he proposed... The list goes on and on. I love the details. And couples love sharing them.

One thing I have learned as one who has documented love stories and photographed weddings for over 8 years is, there are no two stories a like.

They are all unique.

Special.

Different.

And I love it.

Love Stories

To document a love story is like being given a special key that no one else has to an incredibly special place. You are given access to emotions, stories, and intimacy that must be handled with such care. The best way for me to describe it is when someone hands you their newly born baby. You hold that child with such delicacy so to not hurt it in any way. And I approach each wedding, engagement session, and love story this same way. Watching - waiting - listening - documenting. These magical forever moments that will be remembered by them forever and told generations to come.

my grandparents

I love hearing how my grandparent's met. Where they came from. Their beginnings. Because I would not exist if it weren't for them. These are the images that sit on my fireplace mantel and atop my piano that beckon me to wander over and linger and admire the happiness that took place 60 years ago...

How did your love story begin? How do you want it told?

Each love story is unique. Special. Beautiful.

No two love stories are the same. And I am so grateful to be given these precious keys to unlock and document these moments in history that will be told to generations to come.

It is more than just "pictures." It is history in the making.

Mitch & Autumn || Snohomish, WA Wedding

Where do I begin?

This sweet couple holds a special place in my heart. I have known both of them for years and loved watching their love for each other unfold unexpectedly, yet Divinely planned.

I could not have been more overjoyed when asked to photograph their incredible day. It was such a privilege to not only witness them be united as husband and wife, but to document every special moment that took place on their day.

Mitch & Autumn,

Thank you for asking me to photograph your day. You literally have THOUSANDS of photographers just in the Seattle area alone to choose from... and I was so honored that you chose me. Your day was incredible and I hope you enjoy this little glimpse as you await the rest of your images.

Sincerely,
Michelle
